Meeting 6

The minutes of the beer club tasting. 1-23-09

This is the 6th session.

Sampled was;

Rogue Dead Guy Ale 6.5 ABV IBU 40. In the style of a German Maibock, using our proprietary Pacman ale yeast. Deep honey in color with a malty aroma and a rich hearty flavor.

Dennis; very good it’s a greet ale!

Allen; gives it a 9

River Horse Imperial Cherry Amber 7.0% ABV. Reddish copper color. Lovely buttered toast, cherry pie, and toffee aromas follow through on a very creamy and round entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium-full body with an excellent balance of nutty malt, dried cherry and earthy hops on the finish.

Dennis; very good you only get a slight hint of cherry.

Gritty Christmas Ale is a robust E.S.B.6.2 ABV. Dark red/amber color and a rich, full-bodied, malty taste with a slightly roasted undertone.

Dennis; it was all rite but I think I would rather have some thing different. Little mouth feel.

Hebrew Jewbelation Twelve 12.0 ABV. 12th anniversary ale made with 12 malts and 12 hops.

Dennis; I love this big tastes and big bang all in one!

Allen; to much every thing and alcohol!
