Sam Adams July News Letter

Hey Badassbeer!

It’s been an exciting summer here in Boston! We finally saw the last of the snow (yes, snow) from our historical winter melt away and our city streets have been filled with movie filming and other fun activities. Here at the Boston Brewery we’ll celebrate the one year anniversary of our first growlers sold as we welcome folks from all over the country to the brewery during their summer vacations. When we’re not brewing it’s time to kick back and relax. You can find us at home grilling with family and friends.

We hope you’re enjoying the summer months as much as we are!

“Brewer’s Vault” Final Round

The moment is almost here! Back in May we opened up our “brewer’s vault” and brought 16 of our favorite past brews to the table for a vote among Craft beer lovers to select their top four. Starting on Monday, August 3, it’ll be your chance, and Craft beer civic duty, to vote for your favorite among the finalists – Black & Brew Coffee Stout, Black Lager, Hefeweizen, and Scotch Ale. The winner will be re-released in our Samuel Adams Variety Pack this January!

Voting will open on Monday, August 3, and you may vote once per day.

Bursting with bright citrus and tropical fruit notes of apricot and tangerine, with hints of pine and a slight resinous character, this brew brings a lighter-bodied (4.5% ABV; 45 IBUs) sibling to our Rebel family of IPAs. This Session IPA finishes with just enough subtle bitterness to bring you back for another sip all summer (or year) long.

Check out our Find a Sam page to find Rebel Rider IPA near you.

The summer is only half over and you still have plenty of opportunities for cooking outside with this Samuel Adams Grilling Bucket. Each bucket features: 2 Summer Ale pint glasses, a Sam Adams spatula, a bucket for icing down your favorite Sam Adams beer, and Weber Grill’s Firespice® Apple wood chips. Click here to get yours.

In our opinion, there is no better Samuel Adams experience than the one you get here at the Boston Brewery. Come learn about our history, the brewing process and, of course, taste some of our award winning beers.
