Throwback Brewery – Hankie’s Pale Ale, Cool Beer Truck, and more!

Our Beer Truck!

For those of you that follow us on Facebook or Instagram, you’ve probably seen a few pictures of our ‘new’ Divco beer truck. We are pretty excited about this beauty! It is a 1963 milk truck which has been restored, beautifully painted with our logo and colors, and fitted with four taps!

What you might not know is that you can rent the truck for parties- weddings, private events, birthday parties, you name it! We would deliver the truck and set everything up for you. The truck has already been a big hit at a recent wedding and a beer fest.

Interested? Shoot us an email and we can chat pricing and availability.

Introducing the Brand New Hankie’s Pale Ale

We hope everyone has been having a relaxing and enjoyable Summer! As you might expect, our Summer has been filled with beerfests, work on expansion plans for Hobbs Farm, and, of course lots and lots of brewing!

If you are thinking about visiting, now would be a great time! We have Spicy Bohemian coming back on tap today, one of our all time favorite beers (Red Rover Coffee Milk Stout – a lusciously smooth, roasty treat) also on tap now, plus a brand new beer called Hankie’s Pale Ale.

Hankie’s is a refreshing, highly drinkable, and nicely balanced pale ale with a great hop crispness and a distinct citrus nose. We dry hopped the beer with Citra & Palisades, which contribute hints of stone fruit (especially apricot) and a balanced bitter kick, turning what could be a relatively simple and somewhat lighter weight beer into a beer with a great character and taste. And, at 4.7%, this beer is quite sessionable.

This beer is named in memory of Hank, who was Nicole’s dog. You can read more about the story behind this beer here –
When you stop by the brewery, let us know what you think of our latest beer. We love it, and hope you do too! Cheers!

–Annette & Nicole
