American Craft Beer Week Learn More
Join us as we raise a glass to the craft beer industry and celebrate American Craft Beer Week (ACBW) 2014 from May 12th through the 18th! This seven-day celebration is a tribute to craft beer, and to commemorate the occasion we’re offering a variety of special events at the brewery all throughout the week!

We’re offering extended Guided Tasting Tour hours on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday featuring additional tours at 5:15 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. We’ll be pouring rare beers for ALL of our tours during ACBW including Splinter Gold, Splinter Brown, La Grave, and Bourbon Barrel-Aged Troegenator! Don’t miss this opportunity to experience our Guided Tasting Tour on a whole new level. Spaces are extremely limited, so be sure to make your reservation now.

In the Tasting Room, our Snack Bar will feature a beer and food pairing special Monday through Thursday. We’ll continue with Full Moon Firkin on Wednesday and several Scratch Beer releases on Thursday and Friday, including a beer brewed especially for the Ales for ALS program (see below for details). Help us salute the craft beer industry, along with amazing people who live and breathe craft beer every day of their lives. Cheers!

Full Moon Firkin
Join us in the Tasting Room at the brewery on Wednesday, May 14 for another installment of our Full Moon Firkin series. As we stated earlier, this month’s event coincides with American Craft Beer Week, so we’re pulling out all the stops! Our brewers promise to deliver a variety of exclusive one-off firkins for the event, including Scratch #141 (a White IPA), #142 (a Session IPA), #143 (an IPA) and #144 (our Ales for ALS beer)! We’ll tap the first firkin at 11 a.m. when the first customer orders a pint, and tap subsequent firkins as needed throughout the day. Get to the brewery early enough and you could have the chance to tap the first firkin of the day!

Ales for ALS Learn More
After a successful partnership in 2013 with the nationwide Ales for ALS™ program, we are pleased to announce that we’re back for a second year! United through an alliance of craft breweries from across the country, Ales for ALS™ benefits the ALS Therapy Development Institute (TDI), which is the world’s leader in ALS research. More commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease with no known cure. Loftus Ranches, one of the Yakima Valley’s oldest established hop farms, has developed a special proprietary hop blend used exclusively for this Scratch Beer. We will debut Scratch #144 – IPA on Friday, May 16 during American Craft Beer Week, and will donate a portion of all proceeds from its sales directly to the ALS TDI. Learn more by clicking HERE.

Gettysburg Festival Learn More
Tröegs is pleased to announce its sponsorship of the 2014 Gettysburg Festival, a five-day convergence of performing, visual, and culinary arts from the Mid-Atlantic region. “Craft beer and independent music go hand-in-hand,” said Chris Trogner. “We’re excited to have Tröegs Brewery as part of the Gettysburg Music Festival because supporting high-quality independent arts will have a positive impact on the local community.” Stop by the Tröegs Independent Stage on Thursday, June 12 through Saturday, June 14 for a diverse roster of live entertainment handpicked by us. While you’re there, be sure to grab some cans of Sunshine Pils, Perpetual IPA and Troegenator before you sit back, relax and enjoy a wide variety of great independent music from right here in Pennsylvania! Ned Smith Rugged Trail Run Learn More
Tröegs Brewery is teaming up with the Ned Smith Center for Nature & Art to bring you the Rugged Trail 5k Run for Conservation on Saturday, September 13. Rooted in the scenic Susquehanna Valley of Central PA, the Ned Smith Center offers the perfect setting of 500 acres of rustic woodland beauty for this 5k event. In an attempt to attract both novice and seasoned runners, the Rugged Trail Run will offer two separate routes: The HopBack Trail (a walker-friendly route for beginner and intermediate trail runners) and The Rugged Trail (a route designed for veteran runners featuring more challenging elevations and terrain). Registration opens at 9:00 a.m. and the race begins at 10:00 a.m. Stick around after a race for a post-race party featuring Tröegs beer and live music by herbie. All proceeds generated from the event will benefit the Ned Smith Center and its mission directly. Click HERE to learn more and register to participate in the run!
