Dogfish Head Craft Brewery March 2014 Newsletter

The holy grail for hopheads is back

“When will 120 be out again?” It’s probably the question we get asked most. Welp, we have some great news. 120 Minute IPA is on taps and shelves right now, and a second wave is being released in two weeks.
We brew 120 Minute a few times a year and send it to all the states in our distribution network that’ll have it. Right now, that’s Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, D.C., Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.
To find where our wholesalers have delivered 120 in the past 60 days, check out the Fish Finder (you can search by beer and by ZIP). As a reminder, it’s always best to call and confirm a retailer still has the beer before making any treks!

Dogfish Dish: Dandelion green salad

Join Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats Chef de Cuisine Brenton Wallace as he explores the surprising culinary qualities of one of summer’s peskiest pests.
To balance the bitterness of this seasonal green, Chef Brenton whips up a sweet and fruity vinaigrette made with our Belgian-ish cider hybrid Positive Contact.  Watch now.

2014 seasonal art now available on stone coasters!

Our 2014 seasonal prints by artist Jermaine Rogers have made their way onto a super-cool coaster set! It’s a great way to get all four designs, and even comes with a nifty wooden holder. As always, our coasters are crafted on absorbent coaster stone and backed with cork to protect your stuff. Get some.

Meet the team: Kelly Sharp

What do you do at Dogfish?
I manage the tour world, which includes the tours, the tasting room and Bunyan’s Lunchbox, as well as a team of feisty co-workers who love what they do and have a lot of fun doing it.
Best thing about Dogfish?
Definitely the people. And getting your birthday off as a paid holiday. I have always believed that your birthday is your own personal holiday and should be treated as such. It’s great that Dogfish supports that belief!
Favorite Dogfish Head beer?
What makes you off-centered?
My uncanny knack for remembering people’s names for years and years. Some people are touched, and some think it’s a bit stalkerish.
If you could share a craft beer with anyone – past, present or future – who would it be?
Willy Wonka. Sam is kind of the Wonka of beer, and it might be fun to do a collaboration. ‘Nuf said.
Want to join the team? Plenty of career opportunities here.
