After one hell of a Saturday reading the beer nut. Where a friend head told him that Springfield has yet a another beer destination spot to go to along with Smith billiards. I and with the wife along for company. Had to check these places out. Started at Smith billiards about 4 PM. I am sorry that I forgot first bartenders name Emily I think. That had give us samples of their brews on tap, till we found something we like. The wife liked the Allagash white, and I chose an Avery winter warmer. Which was excellent and the place made us feel at home, at least for me running a nine ball team, seemed like a great spot. Jesse our relief bartender had filled us in on our next stop. Which was Murphy’s law on Main Street in Springfield. Smith billiards with at least seven taps of good brews, I could have spent the rest of the day there. We had thought it was time to move on. Arriving at Murphy’s law I found 12 taps and a good chalk board of brews in bottles. I chose a Lagunitas IPA on tap, and talked with the staff there which were all so friendly. On our journey towards home we had stopped at Collins Tavern for something to eat and a brew or two. I had my favorite buzzy’s big ass which is kielbasa and sauerkraut spicy mustard and cheese on a sub roll. Along with a Harpoon Celtic ale and also Harpoon IPA all from tap and very good. It’s one of my favorites on my way back home to Westfield. With a final stop at St. Joe’s club in Westfield to wish our friends a very good night and enjoy a good brew with them. It turned out to be one hell of a Saturday afternoon and evening! Thanks to all of the staff at all of our stops on the way.
